Hey Marc,

.30 for 100mg? thats 3.00 for 1000mg... thats alot.

many of the companies here have better prices than that.

http://www.ResveratrolPriceWatch.com

It is a public forum where you can add your own prices as well, and ask questions regarding the current dosage suggestions based on the current resveratrol studies.

I hope this helps you Marc.

I love Doctor OZ. All his books are really well written and funny. He does a good job of speaking to living healthier in a "real life" scenario. Most health books turn me off because they speak more of "ideal" life situations versus the messy and challenging reality that most of us live in.

Hi Lisa,
Antioxidants are something that I read a lot about because of my Arbonne business. Antioxidants in your skincare products are equally important for good health and skin!
Here is an article I wrote about keeping your skin looking fabulous...

I knew that sprinkling apples (and avocado!) with lemon juice helped it not turn brown, but I never put two and two together and realized it was because it prevents oxidation. Very interesting! One day, I'll teach that little factoid to my kids!

Resveratrol Supplements can help you control your weight naturally
by increasing energy, reducing cravings, and limiting your appetite.
According to Wikipedia, Consumer Lab, an independent dietary
supplement and over the counter products evaluation organization,
published a report on 13 November 2007 on the popular resveratrol
supplements. The organization reported that there exists a wide range
in quality, dose, and price among the 13 resveratrol products
evaluated. The actual amount of resveratrol contained in the
different brands range from 2.2mg for Revatrol, which claimed to have
400mg of "Red Wine Grape Complex", to 500mg for Biotivia.com Transmax,
which is consistent with the amount claimed on the product's label.
Prices per 100mg of resveratrol ranged from less than $.30 for
products made by Biotivia.com, jarrow, and country life, to a high of
$45.27 for the Revatrol brand. None of the products tested were found
to have significant levels of heavy metals or other contaminants.

Thanks for visiting my blog. :) I added you to my feed reader. You're nifty. I'm almost looking forward to weaning my daughter, just so I can drink some liquid antioxidant in the evenings. Lol. Here's my question. If you can get the same benefit from concord grape juice, does that mean that drinking that kind of fruit juice is worth it? I was always taught that fruit juices are evil, second only to lard, in terms of people who are trying to lose weight. (I almost appreciate urinary tract infections just so I can drink cranberry juice without guilt.)
