tblshowlogo.jpgThe new season of The Biggest Loser started last night and I just love this show! The enthusiasm of trainers Bob and Jillian is enough to make anyone stand up and scream “I can do it too!”

My favorite line was Jillian saying “you can either puke, cry…or go home!”?

Honestly, I would love for her to be my trainer. I’m one of those people that need that type of punishment/motivation. I need someone in my face telling me that I can push myself further. I don’t necessarily want to exercise until I am sick (although I have done that before) but I do want to be pushed to my absolute limit.
And then I want to be pushed a little further!
So, Jillian Michaels, if you are reading this, will you please come and be my trainer?

And then there is Bob! I was cheering when he worked Betty Sue beyond her limits but then told her that she “impressed the hell out of him”. Betty Sue may have been physically defeated, but Bob made sure she was not emotionally defeated as well.
Bob is amazing! So Bob, if you are reading this, will you come and be my trainer too?

How about you? Which trainer would you choose?

Stay tuned for another contest to go along with this season! Don’t miss a beat, subscribe to my feed now!

I really like Bob. I’d probably take him.

  2. Fitness Guy Says:

I am not sure why but everyone used to love Bob and now they seem to think he is too much of a softy. Poor Bob. I think Bob would be a great trainer even though the idea of having Jillian yelling to keep going would be a great motivator as well.

We all know that it is uncomfortable and very painful to make those changes so the guys on the show really need someone to push them hard.

I would go with Bob. I think what Jillian said about him last night is true; he may come off as soft, but he’s a monster!
I’ve done a couple of Jillian’s workouts on dvd, and almost died, lol! I know I respond better to a kinder approach, as opposed to having someone yell at me. The fact is, I’m basically a wuss, and Jillian scares the crud out of me,lol!
(Plus, I like Bob’s workouts. They look fun.)

I totally agree with you! I’d pick Jillian too! At first, I couldn’t stand her because I thought she was really mean but once I started really paying attention to her, I wanted her to come kick my ass too! That is the kind of trainer I respond to as well. I had a guy boot-camp instructor that was pretty intense and a lot of the women just got mad at him and didn’t work as hard. I wanted to make him shut up and the only way to do that was to try and impress him by working harder!
    Happy New Year!

Hmmm, not sure who I’d choose. Jillian scares me — but that’s supposed to be a good thing, and she seems really nice underneath it all! And, I think Bob’s ADORABLE! Maybe a little too adorable…. I like Jillian’s diet philosophies better than Bob’s. Bob’s a big protein guy, and Jill focuses on calories…. I think I’d go with Jill. Happy New Year!

I watched last night for the first time in a few seasons. I was amazed at how many teams wanted Jillian. She scares the freakin’ daylights out of me. I would do much better with Bob as he would push, but also compliment afterwards.

  7. Coop Says:

I cannot stand Jillian…she’s one of the reasons I don’t watch that show.

Bob is more like me as far as training techniques. He is calm an confident.

    Best,
    Coop

  8. Robin Says:

I prefer Bob. I like that he is tough, but deals with the emotional side of why people are overweight. But I would totally let Jillian kick my ass, too. Like you, whichever one wants to come be my trainer…bring it!

  9. Cindy Says:

I don’t know. I’d have to say both. I like Jillian. Who was the blonde trainer? I take it she’s not in this one? Jillian’s style produces results. What’s her track record for the show? Positive motivation is a tough skill to have and Bob mastered it. I’ll take his pointers any day because that’s the type of training will pay for. Yep, I can’t make up my mind.

    I’d pick Bob

[...] Workout Mommy is like me – she wants a badass trainer who will yell at her and push her to her limits. These were her thoughts after she watched the first episode of this season’s Biggest Loser. My favorite line was Jillian saying “you can either puke, cry…or go home!” [...]
