I came across this article from MSN titled “So long, Muffin Top”. I like the article because it gives us some good exercises that definitely will help strengthen and tone our abdominal muscles. It also gives some ‘cardio bursts’, such as marching or jogging in place, to elevate our heart rate and increase the caloric burn in between each exercise.

But will these exercises get rid of the dreaded muffin top as the title of the article suggests? Maybe.

(and if you have no idea what I am talking about, click here for an explanation of muffin top!)

In order to whittle down our middle, we will also need to combine clean eating with consistent exercise. And even then, we might still have that leftover stretchy skin that I mentioned on Tuesday.

It’s a good workout though, so set aside some time today to get this one done. You’ll feel better afterwards, I promise!!

Get moving gang, no excuses!

OK. I’ll go do some ab work as soon as I finish the link on “clean eating.”

Recently I discovered that my body doesn’t like any of the cornstarch derivative sweeeteners like maltodextrin, crystalline fructose, and of course HFCS. Since cutting them out, I’ve noticed more flab falling off my muffin top much easier. I think the other correlation is that my sugar cravings have diminished so I’m eating less sugar in general which helps too.
