Here is a roundup of some great posts from this past week. Give them a quick read and then log off and go be active.

The Fit Shack has an excellent post about being addicted to sugar. I can really relate to this one and hope to someday muster up the willpower to kick my sugar addiction.

Roni from Roni’s Weight Watchen Page(s) is on the cover of Women’s World Magazine this month. That is just absolutely cool! Get the details on her site and then go buy the magazine!

Women’s Health Magazine has a neat quiz called Eat this not That. How many can you get correct?

Now get moving gang, no excuses!

Hi Lisa, thanks for mentioning my post about my sugar addiction! On one hand I’m glad to hear that you can relate, and on the other hand I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, so I’m not saying I’m happy that you can relate, know what I mean?

I’ve been completely sugar-free (my sweets were fruits low in natural sugar) and I know how freeing it is, as well as the peace of mind it brings. The trick is not giving in to the thought that “a little is OK”, because in my experience, it’s never enough and leads to more and more! Once you’re off of refined sugar, it’s best to just stay off of it. ;)

I seriously need to log off and be active starting tomorrow. It’s hard to be energetic when you feel as if you are going to be sick. My throat has been hurting me all day. I think I’ll go to be early tonight so I can at least make it to church in the AM.

How can you resist a fun Workout Mommy tee?

    About Me

In my life before kids, I was a personal fitness trainer and self proclaimed fitness junkie. I loved the 5am workouts and evening strength training sessions. Now that I'm a mom, my life is filled with 5am feedings and piles of laundry. I've let my fitness slip and this blog will hopefully provide motivation to help myself (and YOU!) get back in shape. I want to be fit, be healthy, and be happy! No more excuses....it's time to workout mommy!

    Be nice!
