I knew there was a scientific reason why I cannot resist chocolate!

According to new research, people who have daily chocolate cravings have a specific type of bacteria in their gut that sets your body up to crave chocolate. The study examined 22 different men (11 chocolate lovers and 11 non-chocolate lovers) and determined that the chocolate lovers have a different set of gut bacteria that the others do not. Apparently there are a lot of chocoholics in the world—the study took longer than expected because the researchers had a difficult time finding 11 men who did not like chocolate! Of course, this doesn’t mean I can throw myself head first into that Halloween pumpkin full of candy.
I am still sticking to my no candy promise as made over at Petroville.
Have you made the pledge yet?
