I have 30 minutes all to myself!

As I’m sitting here enjoying the peace and quiet, I look around and take inventory on what I should be able to accomplish in 30 minutes.

I could:

  • pay and organize the stack of bills on my desk
  • vaccuum, dust, and organize the main level
  • clean the bathrooms
  • fold the piles of laundry that are lumped on my bed
  • empty the dishwasher

So which one would you do?

Yea, they don’t look very fun to me either!

So I decided to ignore them all and jumped on my spin bike for a 30 minute workout. I told myself to turn off the voice in my head that is usually saying “but you need to ….” and I just enjoyed the workout.

Every single one of the items on my list can wait. If I didn’t take advantage of this time NOW then I might not get another chance in my day. I am worth this. My health is more important than a clean bathroom.

So do yourself a favor and if given the opportunity, ignore the to-do list and jump at the chance for a quick workout.
Those chores will be there when you get back, I promise!

So just do it! Go be active!
